Plus Size OOTD: The Empire Strikes Back

I am sort of proud of myself here for taking OOTD's as I go along and putting then aside to post every other day on the blog. Go me for planning a head, which paid off because the last two days I have been feeling crappy due to whatever sickness is going around I haven't felt like putting on more than just a hoodie and wrapping myself in a blanket and marathon-ing netflix,  So this one is from last week, but its that awesome I had to share it.

If I could keep count of how many Star Wars related OOTD's I have posted it would be kind of obnoxious but either way, here is my newest and most favorite star wars related outfit. From a far you can barely tell it has anything to do with star wars, just looked like a sweater dress, a scarf and a wacky pair of pattern leggings. Which is sort of what I love about it, the outfit doesn't SCREAM Star Wars, but when you get closer, or I turn to the side, you can see darth vader and get the full effect of the awesomness that is this pair of leggings. They really make the outfit. 

These leggings are from Hot Topic, which is a store I tend to find some gems in from time to time, tho other times can be a complete fail from someone my size (in the women items at least) most of the females shirts don't fit me and their jeans. forget it. But I was shocked to see their leggings go up to a size xxl-xxxl depending on the leggings, and the fabric is a thicker fabric, that is another issue with some leggings for me, they are to thin and won't last long or you can see right through them. These are a great material that is thick and even being al XL I feel they may even run kind of big. They do run a bit pricey but I have seen them on sales like buy one get one free or buy one get one half off, and even 40% off. That being said I really adore these leggings, 

The rest of my outfit is just simple, a sweater dress from dots, and my favorite scarf that you know I have repeated a ton of times, because well its simply awesome. And my studded flats tied up the outfit, that can also be worn with boots (which I have worn this outfit with before) 

I love every bit of this outfit, because it shows my girlie and nerdy side, which you really shouldn't ever be afraid to do. Fashion is about expressing yourself, and if you want to wear star wars leggings, then dammit wear star wars leggings.
