Lush Ultrabland Cleanser review

I will admit its been awhile since I have reviewed skin care on my blog, or any beauty products for that matter, but I had re-purchased one of my favorite face cleansers a little bit ago and I wanted to share the love.

This winter has been harsh on my skin, esp my face. It has been dry and just not doing good. So I knew I had to make a trip to lush for one of my favorite cleansers that helps keep my skin feeling good, with out drying it out. That is Ultrabland.

Filled with awesome things like Almold Oil, Honey, Beeswax and Rose water, most people use Ultrabland to remove makeup, while some people like myself use it as a nightly face wash. (because it is a bit heavy). While it does help me remove the left over makeup from the day, it also cleans my face with out making it feel dry, but still making me feel clean and helping prevent breakouts. And its nice on my sensitive skin. This is what the Lush website says about the product.

A hugely popular cult product, Ultrabland is a thick, rich emulsion of essential oils, honey and beeswax to take off any make up or residue that has built up on your face throughout the day. Unlike most make up removers, Ultrabland leaves your skin feeling soft and nourished, thanks to soothing rosewater and iris flower extract. Suitable for all skin types, Ultrabland is a classic LUSH cleanser coveted by staff and customers alike for it’s effectiveness. Not so bland after all, is it?

While it is a bit pricey ($16.95-29.95) depending on the size you get, I find the small tub will last me awhile, because I only use it at night, and more so in the winter time. And the small tubs last up to about a year, I can use one forabout 6 months, before needed a new one. It is a staple in my winter skin care, and even in the warmer months when my skin is a bit dry or just not doing that great. It leaves my skin soft, and hydrated, with out feeling super heavy. And I use it like you would any other face wash, but with out wetting your face or hands (yeah I know seems odd), you just massage it into your face for a few minutes, then I like to take a damp face clothe thats been soaking in hot water, and just gently wipe it off, and then you are done. Its pretty awesome and I seriously would be lost with out it in these cold dry months!

Hope you all enjoyed this review, and remember to subscribe for more awesomness!
