Since most of my outfits lately have been on the nerdy side I decided I should do something a bit more dressy, but also can be sort of casual. It being Valentines weekend I figured I would put together a "date night" kind of look. Now the guy and I don't do much on Valentines, we grab some food and then a movie, but the weather this weekend kind of stopped that. But I didn't let me stop me from showing you guys this really cute, simple and pretty date night outfit.
What do I love most about this outfit? Well it can be warn any time of year, add a cardigan or go with out. It can me dressed up or done up more causal. I decided to do my hair a bit "vintage" like to dress it up a bit, and add some earings that adds to the whole outfit.
My top is from Torrid I bought it a few weeks ago and I am so in love with it. The jeans are from Dots and are a high waisted really comfy straighty jean, I adore how it fits and feets. My cardigan is from target and its my favorite and most worn piece of clothing. The flats are also from target, and the rose gold earings are from dots.
The makeup is a bit soft, but with a bold red lip, I thought it was fitting for a date night (if you don't want lipstick just sub for lip balm) I curled my hair for the first time in months and pined it back. If I wasn't snowed in this weekend this would of been my perfect date night outfit with my guy, simple, pretty, yet still kind of causal.
