Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup

This foundation is in no way new, but it is new to me. I noticed that my go-to drug store foundation was a bit dark for me after these winter months, so I wanted to pick up a new drug store foundation to rotate between my go to high end one. I had heard a few people talk about this, and I wanted to try something new.  But I am shocked at how much I really love this foundation.

I am in the shade Buff which I believe is the 3rd shade and is a bit more pink toned than the one before it, which is the reason why I picked it. The foundation is a medium coverage but can be build able. My only "eh" with the product is the packaging, its not my favorite and I find applying it to be a bit of a pain, but I will look past it because of how it makes my skin look.

 Now my reason for picking this up is because I had heard it was a dewy finish, and with my dry skin that is a good thing. Thats really all I knew about it. So my first time trying it I just kind of slapped it on my face with a beauty blender, and at first I noticed it matched me really well, which I liked. And it blended into my skin nice and didn't look cakey which was a plus. Now I thought it looked nice, like most of my other foundations, I didn't find anything wrong with it, good color match, great coverage, it was a pretty decent buy I just had to test out staying power. Which I would try out that way because I had put it on before I had to work. To my surprise even with a dewy finish it lasted pretty great, didn't need any touch ups through my work day, but the real surprise was peoples reactions. 

I have pretty decent skin, blemish wise. I get a little thing here and there. I have redness on my cheeks, and dry patches, that is mostly my issues, but I never get compliments on my skin. Not ever. But when I started wearing this, I did. If it was from a coworker, or someone in instagram, people kept saying "your skin looks amazing lately!" "what foundation are you wearing you look great!" which is a great boost, but it never happens until I started using this. I am not one to brag and say something is the best ever. Because we all know when something works now, we may hate it later on. But seriously? This stuff is AMAZING, really amazing. Its a bit pricey for a drug store foundation but I will pay it because its that good. I love how it makes my skin look, how it lasts, and even how it applies. I don't need to set it with a powder which is great because I hate how that feels on my skin, I can get away with a sprits from my setting spray and jsut call it a day. I would recommend this foundation to anyone who asks (and there is a lot) "whats a good adorable foundation!"  I will tell them this one, because its amaze-balls!
