Today's weather was so perfect, I was very lucky to have a Saturday off from work and the weather was great! So I took advantage of it and went out with the fella. I wasn't ready to bust out the shorts, and tanktops (it was still a bit cool breezy), but I wanted to look cute, and have a nice day out, and for once this outfit isn't all black!
My outfit is casual, but has a little bit of 90's flare to it, the top makes it sort of nerdy, which is why I love it. I have been really digging the fact the whole 90's style is back again. I have mentioned this before in other posts, so this outfit sort of pulls inspiration from the 90's a little bit, with a bit of my own personal style added to it.
The focal point of the outfit is the "comic" themed body suit from Forever21+. I have never owned a bodysuit, I was always curious how I would look it on. I am not one for tucking in my shirts (the chub kinda scares me with that) but I figured what the hell, why not? I wanted to get a bit outta my comfort zone here so I picked it up and put it together with an outfit. I paired it with my high waist-ed jeansfrom Dot's that I wish I had more pairs of (seriously I love these jeans) and I think it turned out pretty good.
Because like I said the weather is nice, but still breezy I through my grey blazer from Kohls' that you guys have seen in other outfits with it, and I think it looked better than throwing on a cardigan over it. It wasn't too heavy, it did its job!
The accessories I kept simple. I wore my new hat I got from Target last week, its a mens hat, but because I have a big head and thick hair, I find mens hats fit me better, no idea why. But I found this bad boy on clearance for $10, so I needed it. The fella jokes its very Indiana Jones, I think it adds the perfect touch to this outfit, and I am obsessed with it and want to find many many reasons to wear it more often. And my sunnies are from Target a also, I love them, they are my new favorite pair of sunnies!
My makeup today is my "no makeup, makeup" look. I think its one I have been going for a lot lately. Just foundation, easy simple eye makeup with some mascara, and just my current favorite blush "warm soul" by mac. Just some lip balm because i didn't want to fuss much. And thats pretty much it. Simple, glowly and pretty!
